The Police Benevolent Association is challenging a recent court panel’s decision that deemed police body-camera footage to be a public record.
In a statement issued today, the PBA’s president, Patrick J. Lynch, said the union had begun the appeals process at the Appellate Court in Manhattan regarding “the arbitrary release” of the video.
