PBA Attacks Publication Of Disciplinary Database

The Patrolmen’s Benevolent Association launched an attack on the BuzzFeed News website for publishing a leaked database of about 1,800 disciplinary cases the NYPD resolved between 2011 and 2015.

“They are creating the perfect tool for unstable individuals with a grudge against cops to identify and go after police officers and their families,” PBA President Patrick J. Lynch said in a statement April 16, the day BuzzFeed News made the database public.
