Parent Group Emphasizes Rationale for Tenure Suit

Since last summer, Teach­er evaluations have become more stringent, tenure has become harder to earn and the state has formalized rules to place struggling schools into receivership.

But, according the plaintiffs in a lawsuit filed by the New York City Parents Union last July that contended that the state is keeping bad Teachers in class­rooms, nothing has changed to ensure students get a good education.
