State legislators have been lusting for a pay hike for more than a decade, but this year it appears a raise is finally just around the corner.
After recommending pay increases for state judges, the Special Commission on Legislative, Judicial and Executive Compensation has been considering pay for lawmakers, the Governor and other senior elected officials and Commissioners. The recommendations will become law unless the Governor or the legislators move to block them.
