The Organization of Staff Analysts settled two contracts with the de Blasio administration covering traffic and transit employees over the past month, both of which conform to the bargaining pattern established with other civilian unions.
On Dec. 28, about 80 Staff Analyst Trainees, Staff Analysts, Associate Staff Analysts and Administrative Staff Analysts Level I working for NYC Transit overwhelmingly approved a contract running from Oct. 1, 2010 to Sept. 30, 2017. It includes a $1,000 signing bonus for active employees upon ratification. The first three raises of 1 percent are payable each April 1, from 2012 through 2014, followed by a 1.5-percent pay hike retroactive to April 1, 2015, a 2.5-percent raise this April and a 3-percent increase the following year.
