Speaking to hundreds of delegates at the New York State United Teachers’s representative assembly this month, president Karen Magee blasted Governor Cuomo for introducing a series of education policy changes and called him, ironically, the “greatest union organizer in modern New York State history” for helping to rally members as well as public approval for Teachers’ unions.
Delegates attending the annual convention, held May 1 and 2 in Buffalo, booed the mention of the Governor.
