Police Commissioner James P. O’Neill promoted 51 uniformed officers and 66 civilians, including two high-level executives, at ceremonies June 30 at Police Headquarters.
Oleg Chernyavsky was promoted to Executive Director, Legislative Affairs. He joined the NYPD as an Attorney in 2002, serving in the Legal Bureau. During the last 2½ years, he has handled significant legal and policy matters.
