Federal prosecutors have begun to present evidence to a grand jury involving whether State Senate Majority Leader Dean Skelos exerted influence to win business for his son, the New York Times reported last week.
The prosecutors work for U.S. Attorney Preet Bharara, who earlier this year secured an indictment against Sheldon Silver charging corruption schemes that allegedly netted the former Assembly Speaker $4 million.
