It looks to be another unopposed election for Vincent Variale, who is facing his first contract negotiations since becoming president of the EMS officers’ union in 2009. Two executive board seats will likely also be open.
Nominations will be held March 11 for the officers and executive board members of the Uniformed Emergency Medical Service Officers Association, Local 3621 of District Council 37, which has about 475 members.
