Retired NYPD Deputy Chief Salvatore Carcaterra was appointed June 11 to the Civilian Complaint Review Board by Mayor de Blasio. Mr. Carcaterra was selected by Police Commissioner William J. Bratton.
“Given his extensive experience in the field of public safety, Sal Carcaterra will be a strong and knowledgeable addition to the board,” Mr. de Blasio and Mr. Bratton said in a joint statement.
