Mourn Wagner, Colorful Elections-Union Leader

When his longtime friend and fellow Municipal Credit Union board member, Thomas Diana, died last summer, C. Richard Wagner described him in two sentences: “He was respected and admired by everybody. He was a quiet man, but he got things done.”

The first sentence could have just as easily been applied to Mr. Wagner, who passed away March 1, the day after he turned 81.
