Two more Correction Department officials have agreed to settlements in which they paid fines to the city Conflicts of Interest Board for using city-issued cars for personal business.
The two men worked for former Commissioner Joseph Ponte, who retired in June 2017 after a Department of Investigation audit found that he was one of 21 DOC officials to misuse a city car in 2016. City rules specify that vehicles issued to employees are to be used only for commuting or work-related trips.
