Councilman I. Daneek Miller, the former president of Amalgamated Transit Union Local 1056, last week declined to weigh in on the tug of war between Mayor de Blasio and Governor Cuomo over Metropolitan Transportation Authority funding but expressed skepticism that whatever money was allocated would be granted on the merits and not be poached to meet other needs.
