A major battle inside District Council 37 Local 372 may be over, but the saber-rattling that accompanied it definitely is not.
After months of discussions between DC 37, Local 372 and the city, an agreement was reached on a plan to supplement funding to the local’s depleted welfare fund, restoring prescription-drug, eye-care and dental coverage to the spouses and domestic partners of retired School Crossing Guards, hourly school lunch workers, School Aides and Health Aides.
