Marchers at this year’s Labor Day Parade, scheduled for Sept. 12, will have 2016 on their minds, New York City Central Labor Council spokeswoman Cara Noel said last week, noting that unions across the city will be looking to support candidates for President who believe in better benefits and protections for their members.
The theme of the parade will be “We Are NYC,” a motto intended to highlight the diversity of union workers across the city.
