Kelley to Step Down As NTEU President After 16-Year Run

Colleen M. Kelley, the longtime head of the National Treasury Employees Union, announced last week that she would retire after the union’s national convention this August.

Ms. Kelley was an Internal Revenue Service Revenue Agent for 14 years and rose through the union ranks to become president of her Pittsburgh local, NTEU Chapter 34. She was elected vice president of the national union, and president in 1999. She has served four terms as president.
