Five days before the votes were to be counted in a presidential election in which former president Norman Seabrook is running unopposed, the Correction Officers Benevolent Association was still not talking about what it would do if he won.
Mr. Seabrook was forced out of the post he had held for 21 years June 9, a day after he was arrested on Federal charges alleging that he accepted a $60,000 bribe from a financier in whose hedge fund he had invested $20 million in union money.
