Five days before the votes were to be counted in a presidential election in which former president Norman Sea­brook is running unopposed, the Correction Officers Be­nevolent Association was still not talking about what it would do if he won.

Mr. Seabrook was forced out of the post he had held for 21 years June 9, a day after he was arrested on Federal charges alleging that he accepted a $60,000 bribe from a financier in whose hedge fund he had invested $20 million in union money.
