The prosecution of a Brooklyn Tech High School Teacher, arrested in September for allegedly sexually abusing several of his students, one of whom was 13 years old, proceeded last week. During a brief court appearance Nov. 25, Sean Shaynak stood handcuffed wearing a grey sweater and pinstriped pants.
Mr. Shaynak, 44, was arrested Sept. 30 and charged with committing a string of crimes from 2011 through 2014, which include allegedly taking a 15-year-old student to a nude beach, forcibly performing a sex act on an 18-year-old, having sex with two students and inappropriately touching a minor. He was also arrested in August on charges of sexting a 16-year-old student.
