House Speaker Paul Ryan got a raucous welcome from hundreds of protesters angered by the Republican-backed health-care bill he helped push through when he paid a visit to Success Academy I in Harlem May 9.
Protesters chanted, “Hands off our health care! Hands off our schools!” and “How can you sleep at night? Health care is a human right!” while some activists wrote messages for Mr. Ryan in chalk on the school’s exterior. One protester wore a Trump mask; another dressed as the Grim Reaper.
