As Election Day loomed, prospects were bright for Democrats who hoped to take control of the State Senate, according to good-government advocate John Kaehny.
But the executive director of Reinvent Albany stopped short of predicting a Democratic victory. Much depends on turnout, he said in an interview, and pre-election polling is not good at telling how many voters from each party will show up to cast their ballots.
