Regional officials of the Communications Workers of America have ordered a runoff election for Local 1182, which represents Traffic Enforcement Agents. A segment of the union had wanted the election, held last December, to be redone from scratch.
In a letter dated April 14, Region 1 Vice President Chris Shelton said the runoff for five offices, including president, must be held within 30 days of the date of his ruling.
