The de Blasio administration and Teamsters Local 237, which represents 5,300 employees at the troubled Housing Authority, Dec. 12 announced a tentative 43-month pact that adds evening and weekend hours to their work schedules.
The contract, if ratified, would run through Dec. 29, 2021 and include a 2-percent raise retroactive to May 30, a 2.25-percent increase on Aug. 30, 2019 and a 3-percent hike on Aug. 30, 2020.
