Two men who maintained a pot-growing house in the Bronx that exploded in 2016, killing FDNY Battalion Chief Michael Fahy, pleaded guilty July 13 to second-degree manslaughter, according to Bronx District Attorney Darcel D. Clark
In addition to manslaughter, Garivaldi Castillo, 32, of Manhattan, and Julio Salcedo, 34, pleaded guilty to first-degree criminal possession of marijuana before Bronx Supreme Court Justice Steven Barrett.
