A state appeals court last month ruled in favor of a police officer who sought a line-of-duty disability pension for fibromyalgia, one of a number of conditions she reported contracting as a result of exposure to Ground Zero debris.
But the attorney for retired officer Annmarie Sheldon, Jeffrey Goldberg, said that was no guarantee that future claims by people who say they developed fibromyalgia as a result of exposure to the debris would be honored.
