Governor Cuomo, who previously invited comparisons to France’s King Louis XIV’s declaration, “L’etat, c’est moi” (“I am the state”) when he proclaimed, “I am the government,” expanded his territorial reach last week by asserting, “I am the left.” Then, so there should be no doubt, he said it again.
