Worried that an anticipated “Blue Wave” of Democratic voters might end his party’s control of the State Senate, Majority Leader John Flanagan called New York State United Teachers one of the “forces of evil” that is challenging Senate Republicans.
“You have incumbents who are in tough races and you have what I describe as outside forces, some of them now have become almost like the forces of evil, spending millions and millions of dollars,” Mr. Flanagan said Oct. 15 on “The Capitol Pressroom” on WCNY.
