Seven firefighters and one officer have been suspended by the Fire Department after a post-Medal Day celebration at Billy’s Bar, near Yankee Stadium, June 6 degenerated into a drunken brawl.
An FDNY source confirmed that seven Firefighters and one Lieutenant were all suspended without pay for 30 days—the maximum allowed penalty short of firing—following their involvement in the ugly altercation.
