Retired Fire Chief Joseph DiBernardo will travel to Atlanta on Aug. 27 to accept an award for a mission that’s close to his heart.
The Chief founded and runs the Lieut. Joseph P. DiBernardo Memorial Foundation, a non-profit that will receive this year’s Billy Goldfeder Fire Service Organizational Safety Award from the International Association of Fire Chiefs.
