Federal Employees Grow Frustrated Over Problems Receiving Back Pay

Nearly two weeks after President Trump pledged to get 800,000 Federal workers paid as quickly as possible following the 35-day government shutdown, the head of the largest Federal-employee union reported the follow-through had been haphazard at best.

Many workers received only partial payment for what they were owed and others are now in potential legal jeopardy because their employer failed to make required payroll deductions for child support.
