An anxious crowd of lower Manhattan residents jammed the 1 Centre Street offices of Manhattan Borough President Gale Brewer April 25 to get the latest from U.S. Rep. Jerry Nadler and a panel of experts on the financially depleted 9/11 Victims Compensation Fund.
They also got an update on the World Trade Center Health Program for those who lived and worked in lower Manhattan during the attack and for the several months of the clean-up.
