Three members of the Law Enforcement Employees Benevolent Association are suing their union to remove its president, Kenneth Wynder, claiming that he skirted election laws, breached the union’s fiduciary duty and wasted its money.
In the amended complaint, filed Feb. 24 in U.S. District Court for the Southern District, Marshall Vandermark, Robert Mateer and Thomas Terminelle, who were union officers and Environmental Police Officers at the time of the filing, charge that Mr. Wynder “simply decided to elect and re-elect himself as president of LEEBA since 2005 to the present with complete disregard to the 2010 bylaws, which were retroactively applied...”
