Election Bd. Pledges: Won’t Repeat Snafus In Presidential Vote

The city Board of Elections will have wary eyes on it Election Day to see to what degree the agency will improve on its disastrous April presidential-primary performance, with its Executive Director insisting there will be no similar snafus.

The primary meltdown included the improper purging of over 125,000 voters from the rolls in Brooklyn and wide­spread complaints about long lines, late polling-place openings and conflicting guidance from officials at voting sites.
