Brooklyn State Assemblyman and former City Councilman Erik M. Dilan was fined $9,000 for flouting ethics rules, according to a Conflicts of Interest Board disposition released Jan. 28.
The former Housing and Buildings Committee Chair, who served in the Council from 2002 to 2013 and was elected to the Assembly last November, admitted to voting in favor of zoning changes sought by his landlord without sharing his relationship with the legislative body.
