State Comptroller Thomas P. DiNapoli announced support last week for a bill that would allow creation of trust funds in which state and local governments and school districts could put money aside for retiree health insurance.
“It’s the responsible thing to do for those employees entitled to this benefit – putting money away for some of these costs,” Mr. DiNapoli told editors and reporters at The Buffalo News.
