Stirring irritation among some of its members, the National Education Association voted Oct. 3 to endorse Hillary Clinton for the Democratic nomination for President.
“Clinton will continue to advocate on behalf of students, educators and working families because she understands the road to a stronger U.S. economy starts in America’s public schools,” NEA President Lily Eskelsen García said after its board of directors voted to endorse the former U.S. Senator and U.S. Secretary of State.
