Disgraced Albany power broker Sheldon Silver was granted a reprieve from prison of at least two months while he appeals his second conviction for selling his influence as Speaker of the State Assembly in return for $4 million.
A panel of the U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals ruled Oct. 3 that it will consider his case sometime after Dec. 3, and that he may remain out of prison until at least Dec. 10.
