District Council 37 May 30 announced endorsements of Public Advocate Letitia James, who is running for State Attorney General, and State Comptroller Thomas P. DiNapoli in his bid for re-election.
After both were given the overwhelming backing of the 125,000-member union’s delegates, Executive Director Henry Garrido said in a statement that “they have consistently addressed the issues that are of utmost importance to our members and the working men and women of our state...we stand ready to engage and mobilize membership on their behalf.
