The coalition of students, faculty and staff, and community members that rallied against tuition hikes at the City University of New York last year has gone on the offensive.
Consisting of 30 professional and community groups including the Professional Staff Congress, District Council 37, the CUNY Student Senate, the Working Families Party, and the Alliance for Quality Education, the CUNY Rising Alliance is working to convince legislators both at City Hall and in Albany to re-invest in the system.
