The Office of Court Administration has decided to raise starting salaries for Court Officers by 12 percent even as talks on a new contract continue, officials said last week.
The salary for the first two years was raised from $39,775 at Grade 14 to $44,508, which is Grade 16, said Dennis Quirk, president of the New York State Court Officers Association. The next pay step remains $49,775, which is Grade 18, he said.
