In an unprecedented move, the presidents of 10 court-employees unions are joining together to meet with members of District Council 37 Local 1070 in eight counties to discourage them from approving a contract with major givebacks, Dennis Quirk, president of the New York State Court Officers Association, said last week.
Most of the unions have been without a contract for three years, but they say the offer by the Office of Court Administration is unacceptable.
