The Chairman of the City Council’s Civil Service and Labor Committee, I. Daneek Miller, is raising concerns about the circumstances surrounding the case of a city Custodial Assistant who died on May 10 of injuries she sustained falling down stairs while on her night shift at the Queens Courthouse May 5.
Carolina Wilson, 50, worked for the Department of Citywide Administrative Services. Her family confirmed that according to the records they have, her blood-alcohol level was highly elevated when she was admitted to Jamaica Hospital after being found bleeding and unconscious at 1:48 a.m. on May 5 by a member of a film crew using the site as a location.
