An NYPD officer was sentenced June 26 to eight years in prison on her conviction for transporting marijuana and more than one kilogram of cocaine in exchange for money, the Manhattan District Attorney’s Office announced.
Nysia Stroud, 30, of Brooklyn had been assigned to the Fleet Services Division. She was one of four police officers whose cases came up in the DA’s Office at the end of June.
