The Administrative Chief of the Bronx District Attorney’s Office was fined $5,000 for paying subordinates to help with family events and for selling soaps and other gifts to her employees, according to a Conflicts of Interest Board disposition released April 5.
Lisa Payne Wansley paid a Community Associate $1,250 to consult for her brother’s wedding and $500 to another employee for catering a fish-fry at her father’s birthday party. She also sold $4,450 worth of products from her private business, Simple Pleasures Soaps, Suds and Scents.
