Two agents of the U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration were charged last week with concealing their work and ownership interests in a New Jersey strip club in order to protect their security clearances.
David Polos, 51, of West Nyack, N.Y., had risen to the rank of Assistant-Special Agent in Charge and was responsible for the New York Organized Crime and Drug Enforcement Strike Force, made up of dozens of officers from several agencies who concentrate on major narcotics traffickers. He resigned from the DEA last month.
