At one subway station last week, workers were short on enthusiasm for the ongoing Transport Workers Union Local 100 election, though everyone seemed to have an opinion about the last contract.
“All I care about is if my check gets in the mail,” one Conductor said. Asked if he planned to vote, he smiled. “Maybe,” he said.
