A State Supreme Court Justice Nov. 16 declined to throw out charges of criminally negligent homicide against former Administration for Children’s Services employees Damon Adams and Chereece Bell in the death of 4-year-old Marchella Brett-Pierce, although their lawyers said the length of the judge’s decision gave them hope for when the case goes to trial.
