Democratic presidential candidate Bernie Sanders clinched his biggest union endorsement yet Nov. 12 when the American Postal Workers Union—which represents 200,000 members—backed him over former Sen. Hillary Clinton.
Senator Sanders spoke at the APWU’s national conference in October, and has praised postal banking, a favorite topic of the left-leaning union.
