The Federal agency responsible for preventing on-the-job discrimination is being accused by the union that represents its staff of pressing ahead with changes in internal policy that will make it easier for EEOC employees to be discriminated against, in the process violating a Federal court order.
The American Federation of Government Employees is alleging that the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission has moved ahead with several provisions of President Trump’s three Executive Orders issued six months ago that aimed to greatly reduce the presence of the unions in the workplace as well as eliminate long-standing protections against employees being subjected to harassment, discrimination, and retaliation.
