Two Correction Officers were acquitted Oct. 6 on charges that they recruited a gang of inmates to beat up a prisoner who had angered the officers during what prosecutors described as a “trash-talking session.”
The officers, Nakia Gales and Herman Jiminian, were found not guilty of assault in the second degree and falsifying business records in the first degree. The verdict was issued by Bronx Supreme Court Justice Martin Marcus.
