Those “Organized Crime Association” T-shirts worn by some of your members were a direct attack on my Italian-American heritage, State Chief Judge Janet DiFiore said in an angry letter Oct. 29 to two unions representing Court Officers. She demanded an apology.
Your claim is “outrageous and totally false,” the unions responded two days later. “…The T-shirts were a play on the [Office of Court Administration] acronym and nothing more…”
